Yen Vuong – Alln1 Security Services
There was an elderly gentleman who was separated from his family after their Alaska flight from Seattle arrived. He and most of the family only spoke Vietnamese. After talking with C4 and AATC, there wasn’t a way to page the gentleman in his language. Yen translated with the family for nearly 1.5 hours and worked with them. She went to the Atlanta Police Department to report the customer missing. She helped keep the family together, gather information for the police, and the man was found at the International Terminal by Atlanta Police and reunited with his family. Yen was the sole reason we were able to communicate with and get the information needed to reunite the elderly gentleman with his family, and it would not have happened without her. She went well above and beyond her job.
I would like to express my deepest appreciation for Meosha Surry and the extraordinary care she provided during a very challenging situation. My daughter, who is autistic, wears a Sunflower Program lanyard for hidden disabilities, but initially, she did not receive the assistance she needed at the airport. This could have been overwhelming for both my daughter and our family, but Meosha immediately stepped in with remarkable compassion, patience, and professionalism. She went above and beyond, calming my daughter, guiding her through the airport, and ensuring she was safely escorted to our car. Meosha’s attentiveness and genuine care transformed what could have been a stressful and distressing experience into one of relief and gratitude. Her actions exemplify the very best of customer service and human kindness; she not only followed through on her responsibilities but did so with warmth, empathy, and a level of dedication that is truly inspiring. Meosha is a shining example of how one person’s commitment can make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of others. Our family is deeply grateful for her extraordinary support and advocacy.

Arokia Chettiar – Delta Air Lines
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to recognize an employee who truly went above and beyond, and whose empathy made a stressful situation turn into a positive experience. I understand that safety and security are critical at the airport, and I want to acknowledge that first. However, my husband and I would love to recognize Arokia Chettiar with Delta Airlines for his willingness to help in a moment of need. On January 27, 2026, my husband accidentally took my car keys with him as he was flying out. I contacted the airport using the number provided and was given the suggestion that my husband could leave the keys with an airport employee so another employee could retrieve them and give them to my son, who was on the way to pick them up—but would not have arrived before boarding. My husband followed this suggestion and spoke with Mr. Chettiar, explaining the situation and that another employee would be coming to retrieve the keys. Mr. Chettiar agreed to help and was willing to hold the keys until they could be picked up. Because of his cooperation and understanding, my son was able to retrieve the keys successfully. Mr. Chettiar could have easily said, “That’s not my job,” but instead, he showed compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help. His actions made a stressful moment manageable for our family, and we are truly grateful. We wanted to take the time to recognize him for his empathy, professionalism, and willingness to assist beyond what was required. Employees like Mr. Chettiar reflect the very best of customer service and the spirit of the ATL WOW program.

Mark Toma – Qatar Airways
I am writing to officially commend Mark Toma, the Airport Services & Cargo Operations Manager at Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL), for an act of kindness that went far beyond his job duties. I recently lost my AirPods Pro at the airport due to my own carelessness. In a situation where most managers would simply direct me to a website, Mark took it upon himself to personally ensure they were returned. He went to the storage area and manually searched through a large pile of identical lost AirPods, squinting at the tiny serial numbers on case after case until he found my specific pair. But his dedication didn’t stop there. When I sent a shipping label that didn’t cover the packaging costs, Mark didn’t ask me for more money or expect me to figure it out myself. Instead, he took time out of his personal schedule to leave the airport, drive to a UPS store, and pay out of his own pocket to buy a protective mailer so my property wouldn’t get damaged. Mark treated a stranger’s careless mistake with the same care and urgency you would expect for a family member. He turned a stressful travel mishap into a moment of genuine gratitude. Leaders who show this kind of empathy are rare, and he is a huge asset to both Qatar Airways and the Hartsfield-Jackson community.

Pierre Germeil – Atlanta Police Department
This morning, an airport employee encountered a challenging situation when a guest entered her office in distress, requesting medical assistance. While she was alone and understandably uneasy as the guy stated he wanted to hurt himself or others, she reached out to Officer Germeil — and before she could fully explain the situation, he was already at her door within seconds. The employee shared how consistently professional, pleasant, and proactive Officer Germeil is, regularly checking in to ensure her entire office’s safety. It’s this level of commitment and care that helps maintain the calm and security of our airport. Thank you, Officer Germeil, for your outstanding service and dedication.
Lawler Dante at the Hartsfield Jackson Airport was extremely helpful. I lost my belt going through TSA security and he went out of his way to help me. He not only went back through the security line to look, but he checked on the security camera, saw that it must have been stuck inside the scanner and then planned to check inside the scanner after it was shut down in the evening. It is almost certainly there. He said he would then put it in the Lost and Found. I consider that going well above and beyond. Thank you very much! Thank you Donta Lawler

I would like to compliment Nyannah Brown (Delta gate attendant) on her service and resolve to get my phone back to me. She persisted that the crew find my phone after I left, and she got the crew of the plane to deliver my phone to me at my next gate! This was amazing and way out of her way to do this on top of her regular job requirements
Thank you Nyannah Brown

Leona at Pascals Atlanta Airport is an Angel on Earth!!! Besides providing excellent and friendly service from the heart, Leona really goes the extra mile. I accidently left my credit card in her machine. Although, it was very busy in Atlanta International Airport, she watched where I was walking and made sure I got my credit card back. Losing your credit card can be so traumatic, especially when traveling. Our family has loved Pascal’s for years. We always get the four vegetarian sides. Best food in the USA!!! And now we have our new favorite human on earth, LEONA!!! Thank you, Pascal’s for employing someone as extraordinary and Precious as LEONA!!!
Thank you Leona Francis
