Hartsfield-Jackson, U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Hold Second Global Entry Blitz
Event helps qualified travelers expedite interview scheduling
ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will hold a second enrollment blitz for Global Entry Aug. 29-31. Global Entry is a CBP program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter through automatic kiosks at select airports, including ATL. The blitz is open to applicants who have been conditionally approved through the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) and are waiting for an interview appointment. The initial Global Entry Blitz was held April 5-7 with over 500 entrants approved during the three-day event.
Benefits of Global Entry include:
• No processing lines
• No paperwork
• Access to expedited entry
• Available at major U.S. airports
• Reduced wait times
For those who have already applied and received GOES conditional approval, visit https://ttp.dhs.gov, login to the Trusted Travelers Program, select “Do You Have an Access Code” and use access code 6U1L44327. Select ATL/FO/DOA as the location.
