This report provides a year in review, underscoring the Airport\u2019s initiatives and detailing its successes.<\/p>\n<p>Hartsfield-Jackson served more than 104 million guests in 2016, earning the distinction of world\u2019s busiest airport for the 19<sup>th<\/sup> consecutive year. That followed a history-making 2015, when ATL became the first airport to host more than 100 million passengers in a single year.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond passenger counts, 2016 saw the launch of ATLNext, the Airport\u2019s 20-year, multibillion-dollar capital improvement program, and the City of Atlanta signed a new 20-year lease agreement with Delta Air Lines.<\/p>\n<p>And those are just a few of the 2016 accomplishments for the world\u2019s busiest and most efficient airport.
